Job description

3 possible assignments:


Task/Job1: Dispensing system

Within the company you will work within the team who develops and makes equipment. We have made our own dispensing system based on a hybrid between a CNC machine and 3D printer. At the moment we learn a lot on our new processes and so our machine needs to be upgrade continuously with new features and new improvements. This is an important next step for our new tool where a large team is going to work on for the coming 3 years.


Task/Job2: PDM and logisitics

Within the company you will work within the team who develops and makes equipment. We developed many tools with our partners and therefore we have lots of Technical Product Documentation (TPD) is stored on our server. The TPD contains CAD files (made in NX and Inventor), EPLAN files and text documents. Your task will be to get an overview of all the systems, organize and link it (in SharePoint). This will be the preparation of setting up a complete new PDM system which will probably TeamCenter. Additionally the TPD needs to be linked to our ERP system with our unique SCIL product numbers. After having the basic overview of the systems we want you to identify our parts in stock, label them and store them.


Task/Job3: Support on new concepts:

Within the company you will work within the team who develops and makes equipment. We want you to help us with improving our tools by means of testing and analyzing first, whereafter design changes can be applied and validated. We want you to work on the pre-development of our next generation tools.


Requirements

For all tasks: 3D model experience!!


Flexible, independent and knowledge of the task/job to which is applied.

Task/job1: working with 3D printers

Task/job2: Mechanical engineering, PDM and logisitics

Task/job3: General hands on engineering


Global:

• Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics

• Testing and analyzing current solutions, CAD drawing and (re)designing

• Able to do your work without daily guidance

Working conditions

15 to 20 euro/hour depending on knowledge and availability.

Working in High-tech envorinment in a young and dynamic team.

The described tasks/jobs are designed for 20 hours/week, therefore you can do 1 or 2 tasks/jobs.

It is possible to work from home.

You rapport to the group manager.

You are required to bring your own laptop and phone, the necessary materials and software will be arranged by SCIL.

Adjustments to the jobs can be made in discussion.
