East-West Trade is a Dutch international consultancy firm headquartered in Leidschendam, the Netherlands. The main focus of East-West Trade lies in the organization of high-level trade delegations, Netherlands pavilions at leading trade fairs and providing international business development services. Requirements
As Junior project manager, you will be responsible for the marketing and sales of our events, mainly trade missions and trade fairs but also online seminars and exhibitions.
You will report directly to the Managing Director of the company and shall have a crucial role as contact point for our corporate clients and Netherlands governmental agencies. Above all, you will have the unique opportunity of starting your internship working on a high-level trade mission that we are organizing on behalf of the Dutch government!
Your tasks will include but not be restricted to the following:
Managing company CRM and keeping track of developments such as the events and regions that our accounts exhibit interest in.
Making marketing material. Such as writing mission announcements, making promotional documents and managing company’s LinkedIn page.
Making targeted mailing campaigns for our projects and missions.
E-mailing and calling our accounts (mainly leading high-tech agricultural, horticultural and processing technology companies) with the purpose of closing deals.
Managing our current client base and the new account made by the intern.
Working conditions
You will be working from office to start with. However, should any unfortunate extreme waves of infection take place, you will need to work from home and contact will be held through (video)calls.
Whenever COVID-19 restriction as well as our company policies permit, you will attend events such as conferences & trade fairs. However, as your health and safety is of utmost importance to us, no unnecessary travel risks will be taken during the course of your internship.
