Chestnut is an independent corporate finance boutique with deal sizes ranging from EUR 10- 150m. During my internship I worked closely together with the partner of the firm and a senior associate. From day 1 I was fully involved in all active projects and I supported the team by doing market research, company research and valuations among others. Since the team was rather small, I had a direct connection with both the senior associate and the partner of the firm, which has substantially increased both my subject knowledge and soft skills. Furthermore Chestnut’s assignments were quite interesting and challenging, requiring a real out-of- the-box approach. Overall I would very much recommend an internship at Chestnut Corporate Finance.

Een uitdagende stage bij een M&A boutique in het mooie Den Haag. Klinkt naar mijn mening erg goed. Gedurende mijn stageperiode heb ik uitstekend beeld gekregen wat deze sector inhoudt. Verder heb ik door de hands-on begeleiding en de uitdagende opdrachten mijzelf dagelijks verder kunnen ontwikkelen. Doordat Chestnut een relatief klein kantoor is, werk je direct samen met senior associates en partners waardoor je direct feedback krijgt.
